Stacey Kaleh, MA

Director of Strategy + Messaging

A native Austinite and passionate writer, Stacey holds a B.S. in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and a M.A. in Museum Studies from New York University, where her thesis focused on rebranding as a tool for increasing  accessibility and audience growth.

Stacey has over a decade of progressive experience in non-profit, higher education, and arts-related communications. She's worked on both the client and agency sides and prides herself on fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. In addition to running Kaleh PR + Video, Stacey works in Austin's nonprofit sector. She has overseen public relations and marketing campaigns ranging from the hyper-local to national scales, including GivingTuesday and Amplify Austin Day. From leading experiential and grassroots marketing efforts for clients such as Don't Mess With Texas and Baylor Scott & White Health, to serving as a media spokesperson and securing press placements with outlets like CBS Sunday Morning, the Wall Street Journal, and The Verge, to negotiating on-brand sponsorships, editing scholarly publications and magazines, and penning the tagline, "Curiosity Welcome," for the Blanton Museum of Art, Stacey's broad background helps her integrate public relations, advertising, and leadership communications for clients.

Outside of the office, Stacey is an active community volunteer. She is a graduate of Leadership Austin’s Emerge Class of 2014, serves on the Education Committee for Preservation Austin, and is on the Community Advisory Board for Austin PBS (KLRU). From 2014-2016, Stacey served on the board of the Austin Museum Partnership as co-chair for Austin Museum Day, where she helped quadruple sponsorship funding, introduce a media outreach strategy, and increase visitorship by approximately 10,000.
